A clean attic with a deep, even blanket of fluffy white blown-in insulation covering the joists, roof rafters above and soft light from a gable vent
How we work

Six steps from first call to final walk-through.

A clear, unhurried process that keeps you informed and in control.

The journey

What happens, and when.

  1. A smartphone with a blank dark screen on a table beside a coffee mug and a rolled blank plan in soft warm light
    01

    Call and schedule

You tell us what is going on, which rooms bother you and what you hope to change, and we set a time that fits your day.

  2. A thermal imaging camera and a flashlight resting on an attic joist beside a blank clipboard in bright light
    02

    Inspect and assess

We walk the attic, walls, crawl space and equipment, measure depths and use thermal imaging when it helps.

  3. Cans of spray foam sealant and a caulk gun on an attic floor beside sealed wire penetrations
    03

    Seal and prepare

We protect the house, seal air leaks, place baffles and fix small problems so the insulation can do its job.

  4. A blown insulation hose spreading fluffy white insulation across attic joists under bright work light
    04

    Install the insulation

Loose-fill, batts, foam or board goes in to the planned depth, with clean edges and clear markers.

  5. A plastic depth marker stake standing in fluffy attic insulation in bright light
    05

    Verify and test

We measure the result, take photos and test air leakage when the scope includes it.

  6. A comfortable bedroom with soft morning light, a made bed and a thermostat on the wall
    06

    Walk through and enjoy

We walk the finished work with you, answer questions and leave the site clean.

Timing

How long does it take?

How long does a typical project take?

A typical attic project takes one day, and combined attic, air sealing and crawl space work can take two or three. We give you a schedule with your written scope and update it as work moves.

Do I need to be home?

It helps to be there at the start and the end, and we keep you posted during the work by phone or message. Please keep children and pets away from equipment and work areas.

What should I do before work starts?

Clear a path to the attic or crawl space access, move valuables and breakables and tell us about access, pets and your HOA. We take care of protecting floors and furniture.
