A full attic reset after leaks, pests, smoke or old repairs: debris removed, surfaces cleaned and the space ready for new insulation.
Over decades, an attic collects more than insulation. Old wiring scraps, leftover building materials, dust, nesting material and failed patches all pile up. After a roof leak, a pest problem or a fire, that debris can hide moisture and odors.
We clear the attic floor, vacuum out contaminated material, remove debris and clean framing surfaces with HEPA vacuums, then document what we found. From there, we air seal, repair what needs repair and install new insulation, giving you an attic that is clean and efficient.
After pests, roof leaks, smoke or a renovation, a thorough cleanup removes the sources of odor and contamination. It is also helpful before selling a home.
Fine dust and fibers spread easily. HEPA-filtered vacuums capture particles and leave framing and sheathing clean and visible.
With the debris gone we can see stains, rot or damaged framing. We flag them, photograph them and suggest the right trade.
A clean attic is the right place to start air sealing and new insulation. The finished layer sits on a clean, sealed floor.

You tell us what is going on, which rooms bother you and what you hope to change, and we set a time that fits your day.
We walk the attic, walls, crawl space and equipment, measure depths and use thermal imaging when it helps.
We protect the house, seal air leaks, place baffles and fix small problems so the insulation can do its job.
Loose-fill, batts, foam or board goes in to the planned depth, with clean edges and clear markers.
We measure the result, take photos and test air leakage when the scope includes it.
We walk the finished work with you, answer questions and leave the site clean.
Not always, but it is the right step when material is wet, contaminated or full of debris.
Cleaning and removing affected insulation helps a great deal. Persistent odor may also need sealing or other treatments.
We can move them aside and put them back. We do not haul your belongings without permission.
We stop, document it and recommend a remediation specialist before any new insulation goes in.
Most attics take one to two days, depending on size and debris.
